   My name is Kate Kim and I am a Sophomore, majoring in Communication Design with a minor in HCI.

2. Tell us a bit about your background and what prompted you to take this class.

   Minoring in HCI, I thought this class would be a great start to understand the language of html and css.

3. Do you have any experience with HTML/CSS/JS? If so, tell us a bit about it.

   I do not have any experience with HTML/CSS/JS.

4. Name one thing you hope to learn in this class.

   One thing I hope to learn from this class is to be able to understand the process of how websites are made so I can consider them in my design and better communicate with coders.

5. Name one way you expect designing for screen to be different from designing for paper.

   I believe the responsive aspect of screens and different screen sizes is different from designing for paper.

   Airbnb I believe airbnb has a clean and well organized design that allows people to navigate pages easily.

7. Provide a link to a website you think exemplifies effective communication. Explain your choice.

   Apple Apple has great layouts and typographical hierarchy that provides good view of their product and their service.

   Pentagram I believe the website for the pentagramp company works really well as they simply layout their works but efficiently in a certain grid that allows clients to look at their work easily.
